On Wednesday this past week I was able to finish a quilt that will be donated to the Miner's Memorial Committee. The quilt will be auctioned off at one of the fundraiser events between now and Labor Day 2015. It contains 26 photographs of mine portals in Carbon County. It includes photos of Hiawatha, Wattis, Castle Gate, Clear Creek, Winter Quarters, Kenilworth, Columbia, Mutual, Royal and more. I was really happy with the way it turned out and everyone on the committee seemed to like it. It's always fun to add a project to the Project Finished list.
