Family Reunion!!!

Date: Sat., Aug. 6th, 2016

Time: 10:00 - meet at the turn-off near the Castle Gate Tunnel

There are a couple monuments at this site.  We will be able to overlook the town of Castle Gate and share remembrances with each other.  We may be able to drive down the Main Street of Castle Gate, then visit the Castle Gate cemetery and take a short walk to the #2 mine portal where the mine explosion occurred on March 8, 1924.  This walk is through rocks and brush so shoes are advised.  Photographs of the town of Castle Gate will be available.

Time: 12:00 - Meet at Helper City Park

We have the Helper City Park pavilion reserved for the rest of the day.  Sloppy Joes, plates and utensils will be furnished so bring a salad, a dessert, or a bag of chips for a pot luck lunch.  Waters will be provided.  Please bring your own drinks.  The pavilion is right next to the Helper City swimming pool for those of you who have children that would like to go for a swim.

Please share this invitation and the maps with your children and grand-children.  We'd love to meet all of our Hreinson cousins.  Bring a lawn chair and plan to sit around, visit and get to know each other.
