100 things I love - part 1

This journal prompt is about 100 things I love.  For the next 11 posts I will be sharing things I love.  Some of the topics are 10 activities, 10 restaurants, 10 people, 10 foods, 10 games, 6 drinks, 4 desserts, 10 paintings (?), 10 writers (?) and 10 famous lines from books or movies (?).  There are a few of those topics that I may be changing a little.Such as the four desserts.  Who can list only four desserts and I'm sure I don't know ten paintings, ten writers and ten famous movie lines.

I picked my favorite one to start with - My ten favorite websites.

These are not necessarily in order of best to least or least to best.  These would be the ones I visit most often.

  1. FamilySearch.org- The best Family History website online.
  2. Carbon County Utah UTGenWeb - the best UTGenWeb website online.
  3. Find-A-Grave - Find the graves of ancestors, create virtual memorials, and add virtual flowers and a note to loved one's graves.
  4. Western States Marriages Index -Index of all marriages in the Western States.
  5. Facebook - Great way to find old friends, visit with cousins and keep track of children and grandchildren.
  6. Utah Division of Archives & records service - Death certificates online for Utah from 1905-1958.
  7. Utah Digital Newspapers - University of Utah online newspaper collection. Great resource for finding information about individuals and local events.
  8. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints- a great source for conference talks, scriptures, church manuals and temple information.
  9. Ancestry.com - A wonderful source of information for doing Family History Work.
  10. BYU Digital Collections - Thousands of digital images from different collections.
  11. Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course Book 1 and 2 - Great website. I can listen to the songs that I'm suppose to be learning and know what they are supposed to sound like.
Oops, I shared one too many things.  Oh well, I guess I'm one ahead just in case I can't think of ten writers.  Have a happy week.
