It's been awhile since I have added anything to this blog. I've found myself getting caught up into the Christmas whirlwind. The last thirty years of my mothers life was spent needle pointing pictures. She did a variety of pictures and generously shared them with the people she loved. Over the years we have lost track of the pictures and the memories. A couple months ago Robert told me what he would like to have for Christmas. His request was a CD with photographs of all of Grandma Fern's pictures? It has turned out to be an interesting request.
I have contacted siblings, children, nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws and even stepped on a few toes but success has come as a result of the help of many wonderful people. I know that there are still pictures out there but we have gotten the project started and it will be a work in progress. I certainly can't share all the pictures that have been collected so far because I wouldn't want to spoil the Christmas surprise. I currently have 62 pictures and know of four more that will be here soon. It has been so fun to see the photographs of the needlepoint pictures. My mother was truly an artist and talented woman who shared her talents with many people. Thank you mom for sharing the love.
BEST MOTHER AND GRANDMA EVER
